|Introduction to GENERAL - Report and List Generator. This Business Basic Application adds a database definition capability to existing applications that don't currently have one. The database is then used by GENERAL, the report/list generator, to access your application database and create on-screen queries or printed reports.|
Use it to list amounts in ascending to descending order, print labels, generate customer, vendor, salesman or item lists. You can access and report any information in your database.
FLEXIBILITY - You can suppress report headers, force line breaks, suppress blank lines, suppress detail, control spacing, width, titles, average amounts, break on any field change, force page breaks and output to your Display Screen or any MicroShare Printer. With our Application Resource Library, you can also output formatted reports or lists to your Windows Internet Browser and/or Xcel Spreadsheet.

|GENERAL MENU Command - This menu is provided for users who are not advanced or frequent users. It puts the available commands and functions in front of them. || |
|PROMPT Command - This option puts every field name in front of you to choose and option for a specified file. It eliminates guessing and the need for remembering the contents of your files. || |
|RUN Command - This feature allows you to access previously created lists & reports that you saved for future use. Simply enter the number next to your choice. Saved reports can be secured by user security access level or open to all users. || |
|USERS Command - Setup Users within the report writers to control who can access files, fields or reports that might reveal sensitive company information. || |
|OUTPUT to Web Browser - Send any report or list to your web browser rather than the screen or printer. Review the entire output by scrolling up and down, leave the window open indefinitly and print it if you desire. You can then attach and e-mail it to a 3rd party. || |
|OUTPUT to Excel Spreadsheet - Send the content of any report/list to an Excel Spreadsheet for distribution to employees or customers. Or, for further data manipulation such as price mark-up lists. || |
